I was very happy with this 4th book. Sometimes when you have a long series the stories get worst. That's the exact opposite. I thought this story was full, exciting, hot, sad, cute, it was great. I love that Silas and Jasmine have continued their crazy love adventure and their relationship is so realistic.
Silas's nation is still being attacked and he has no idea how to win this battle he's in. There are so many elements to the story and sometimes as a reader it seems like too much, but it's all done so well you get caught up in trying to figure out what's going on and making your own predictions. I love it, I don't always like it when everything is laid out and predictable. I love that the pups are growing up and all have these cool talents and quirks. David is definitely my favorite. Jasmine is going through a lot and the issues she's having are very realistic. Her family coming to visit was a great way to see how Silas deals with that challenge and made him seem more I don't know, but it was good. Silas is discovering how much Jasmine can help him and the nation and their love is strong and he has to remember to lean on her as well. I loved the book, I hope the next one is longer is I can keep reading. Great job Sydney!!

I love Sydney Addae's books, so far I have all of them. I recently bought La Patron Series again from yes I said again. I bought them before from a different site and when I got my new laptop thy didn't transfer so I gladly bought them again.

Testing family strength and durability was what I got from this book . Jasimine's trust in her mother and sister to not endanger her babies and Silas trusted Jaques the same way. Then you have the outside factors such as Mark, Griggs, Merriweather and the two sides that want to destroy La Patron's Nation. The plot is getting thicker!
Loved this book just as much if not more than the other 3! The author showed another side of Jasmine, the Patrons mate, and you can definitely call her his equal. This author takes you along for the ride with Jasmine and Silas as they try to take care of their babies/pups. How they handle being bombed and having family poisoned. What will they along with the first set of twins and rest of the family do to save the family/pack.
It's better to start with the first book so you get to know everyone and what's building up for them . Great read! Would definitely recommend this series.
This is book 4 and I'm sure more are coming. These wolves have their own nation and La Patron is the mystical 300 year old leader. In the first book we found that certain human women can breed with the wolves and make hybrids that are better than the full bloods. La Patron bred and mated Jasmine and now her mother, sister, and mother's fiancé have come to attend the christening. But the war with the breeders and the unknown faction hasn't stopped - if anything it has amped up. Something is wrong with Jasmine's mom, the babies come down with a mysterious illness, and Jasmine realizes the breeders are more than was previously thought because she has some serious skills and powers manifesting...can't wait for more.....
This is a series where Alpha's run each of the 50 states under one Alpha's Alpha called LaPatron. Our main character is the widow of a military man to whom she bore twin sons when she was 16. Her lackluster marriage left her off men entirely. Her sister is a lesbian and her mother goes through men like bathroom tissue. Both sons went into the military and one was hurt badly. When LaPatron's godson is hurt, his men discover her son is a half-breed werewolf and they move him to the private werewolf hospital. Jasmine finds out her son's secrets after the other twin was felled when his brother was hit and brought back. Humans and werewolves are not supposed to be able to breed and thus start an adventure where Jasmine has to come to terms with the missing truths in her life and LaPatron.
Jasmine and Silas have four babies, all of which have shone exceptional talents. Jasmine insists on a christening, even though there have been exploding bombs, kidnappings and death. She just wants something normal, so certainly her family is coming to visit.

Jacque returns when Jasmines mother and sister are there, and his identification of her mother as his soul mate stuns all, since she brought along a fiancee. But something is wrong with her. She keeps forgetting details she knows. More attacks and deaths, and Silas is up to his ears with issues and problems. Then the unthinkable happens....someone e poisons the four babies. Who? And why....

Can't get enough of this series. The suspense is a killer, btw the story and characters are fantastic. Anyone interested in a paranormal alpha story must read this.
Jasmine and Silas are back stronger than ever. I love the fast pace of the writing, and the storyline. Each character is evolving, with each new book in the series. I'm just on book four, but I look forward to five in anticipation of what's next for this family and how they go about solving their problems. This is a paranormal/fantasy read, that is packed with so much. Family drama, betrayel, decent sex scenes, and growth of characters.
