This is by far the worst "book" that I have ever read. It's not a book, it's a transcribed account of rambling interviews with J. Paul Getty III and those around him.

Much of it makes no sense, not cohesive and parts of it are totally impossible to understand. Please do not wasted your money on this book.

If I could give it negative stars I would.

Insightful book, very welll written and includes full quotes from most of the major parties. Would highly recommend to others.
Really enjoying this read, especially while I am watching Trust on FX about the Getty’s and this particular story.
very hard to follow
I enjoyed the book, although it was a bit difficult to follow at time,,, I had anticipated more about his life after the kidnapping,, and there was little. I had seen the movie first, and it was very similar, just wish there was a bit more info.
I wanted to read about J.Paul Getty after seeing the movie. This book is a little hard to follow because of jumping from one interview to another with all the people that were involved in his life. The movie was definitely better but was not true to the book. It was a good read but not as good as I would have hoped.
One of the worst written books that I have read. I can't follow along and it sounds like a second grader wrote it. I wish there had been reviews before I bought it as I would have passed on it. Now I can't wait to finish it and delete it from my library.
I'm sorry to say that I found the writing style of this book to be very disorganized, repetitive and confusing. But it does get across the awfulness of young Paul's kidnapping, the absolute meanness of some of his family, and the general lack of caring for his well-being and safety by the police, the press, and other public figures. It is a very sad story.
